Launch of Wikinonviolence

Kathy Kelly renowned American peace activist, pacifist and Nobel Prize nominee, Mbaye Mbalow, President and Cofounder Nonviolence Advocates Association, the Gambia; Daniela Sepuveda Ruiz, Economist and activist Tijuana, Mexico and Dr. Siby K. Joseph of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan presented Wikinonviolence project to the world on October 2, 2024 coinciding with Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday and International Day of Nonviolence. It was hosted by Peace Foundation, Erfurt, Germany. The programme consisted of Keynote speeches by the dignitaries, interactive workshops and discussions. Academics, Gandhi Scholars, peace activists from different parts of the globe participated in the launch of Wikinonviolence project. The vision behind Wikinonviolence is to make nonviolence knowledge available to people, to create an archive of different philosophy, thoughts methods and different cultures of nonviolence from different parts of the world. The project also aims at providing learning opportunities on the topic of nonviolence.
