  सेवाग्राम आश्रमातील 'आखरी निवास' पर्यटकांकरिता खुले By  ऑनलाइन लोकमत  | Published:  June 27, 2023 12:15 PM डागडुजीकरिता होते बंद : ४२ दिवस चालले कामकाज, राज्यपालांकडून पाहणी सेवाग्राम आश्रमातील 'आखरी निवास' पर्यटकांकरिता खुले सेवाग्राम  ( वर्धा ) :  येथील राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी यांच्या आश्रमात देश-विदेशातील पर्यटक, अभ्यासक आणि अहिंसक आंदोलनावर विश्वास ठेवणारा मोठा वर्ग आश्रमातून प्रेरणा आणि ऊर्जा घेण्यासाठी येत असतो. आश्रमातील स्मारके गावखेड्यासारखी आहेत. यातील ‘आखरी निवास’ स्मारकाच्या दुरुस्तीचे काम पूर्ण झाले असून, ते पर्यटकांसाठी खुले करण्यात आले आहे. आश्रम परिसरातील स्मारकांची काही कालावधीनंतर दुरुस्ती केली जाते. आखरी निवासच्या दुरुस्ती कामाला १३ मे २०२३ पासून सुरुवात करण्यात आली. २३ जूनला काम पूर्ण झाले असून, याकरिता ४२ दिवसांचा कालावधी लागला. राज्यपाल रमेश बैस यांनीही या आखरी निवासची पाहणी करून माहिती जाणून घेतली. गांधीजींनी १९३६ मध्ये आश्रमाची स्थापना केली होती. गांधीजींचे सतत १० वर्षे या आश्रमात वास्तव्य राहिले. स्मारकांना आदी निवास, बापू कुटी, बा कुटी आणि

By :  एकनाथ चौध री   |   Updated: 26 Jun 2023 02:18 PM (IST) Bapu kuti : वर्ध्याच्या सेवाग्राम इथल्या जागतिक कीर्तीच्या महात्मा गांधी यांच्या बापूकुटी आश्रमातील कुटींना पावसापासून बचावासाठी झांज्या आणि ताटव्यांचे कवच लावण्याचे काम जोरात आहे. राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी यांनी 1936 साली वर्ध्याच्या सेवाग्राम इथं वास्तव्यास आल्यानंतर इथल्या आश्रमातून स्वातंत्र्य चळवळीला दिशा दिली. त्यामुळं हा आश्रम महत्वाचा ठेवा आहे. आश्रम परिसरात आदिनीवास, बा कुटी, बापूकुटी, बापू दफतर, आखरी निवास निवास दिमाखात उभ्या असून अनेकांसाठी प्रेरणा आणि ऊर्जा देणाऱ्या ठरल्या आहे. पण इथल्या कुटी ग्रामीण घरांसारखी असल्याने पावसाळ्यात त्यांची सुरक्षा आणि देखभालीची विशेष काळजी घ्यावी लागते. पावसाळ्यापूर्वी शिंदोल्याच्या पानोळ्यापासून झांज्या आणि बोऱ्याचे ताटवे तयार केले जातात. शिवाय या झांज्या व ताटव्यांचे पावसाला सुरुवात होण्यापूर्वी आश्रम प्रतिष्ठाण परिसरातील महत्त्वाच्या चारही कुट्य

  Inauguration of Youth Festival at Sevagram   Society for Rural, Urban and Tribal Initiatives( SRUTI), New Delhi  organized the   Youth festival as a culmination of  School of Social Change programme  in the premises of Sevagram Ashram from  16 to 18 June 2023.
