Wardha District Sarvodaya Mandal Calendar Released on December 30, 2023
























The  calendar of Wardha District Sarvodaya Mandal was formally released  on December 30th, 2023 at the Seminar Hall of  Library and Research Centre of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan , Wardha. The  theme of the calendar  focused on  certain issues for which Gandhi ji has been misinterpreted. Smt. Ashaben  Bothra, President of  Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan , Wardha presided over the function in the august presence of  Shri Ramesh Zade ,President, Wardha District Sarvodaya Mandal,Shri Neeraj Gujar,Former President of  Municipal Corporation) Shri Anantrao Thackrey , Shri Pravin Pethe (Ex military )The programme  was conducted by Prof Rajesh Balsaraf.  






Shri Kanhaiya Chhangani, Secretary, Wardha District Sarvodaya Mandal  gave a  introduction  about  the key themes discussed in the calendar  as an introduction viz. Mahatma Gandhi was not responsible for partition of India and Pakistan.- Why Jawaharlal Nehru was elected as the first President of India. Shri Prafful Kukde proposeda  vote of thanks.  A number of persons associated with Wardha Sarvodaya Mandal  and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. The participants of Winter Camp/Short Term Course on Gandhian Thought for College/University Students were also present on the occasion.

  False Social Media Propaganda against Gandhi : A Factual Analysis    Siby K. Joseph     A false propaganda against Gandhi is gaining momentum through social media in connection with the allowance for the upkeep of Gandhi as a State Prisoner in 1930 by the British Government. Workshop sessions on Gandhi and Community Living

Workshop on Community  Living   and   Gandhi’s vision of Ashram On  18 th of July 2024 two workshop sessions were organized on  the following themes. The first one was Gandhi and experiments in Community Living and second one was his vision of an ashram .It was held    at the premises of Library and Research Centre of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, Wardha. The workshop sessions were guided by Dr. Siby K. Joseph, Director of the Centre. It was conducted for a small group of enthusiastic young fellows from different parts of the country with varied interest and expertise . They are connected to Youth Alliance, New Delhi and Ritambhara, Kotagiri. The programme started with a brief introduction of participants. It was followed by a presentation of Dr. Siby K.
