Study Visit of Nirman Group

Study Visit / Camp for NIRMAN Youth

Shri Amrut Bang of NIRMAN coordinated with the Sevagram Ashram to organise a short study visit and camp for Youth of Gadchiroli and Chandrapur district, held on April 17 and 18, 2026. The participants arrived at the Ashram on the morning of the 17th and concluded their visit the following day.

The programme offered an immersive experience of the Sevagram Ashram and the Nai Talim premises. The itinerary also included visits to the Gitai Mandir, the Jamnalal Bajaj and Vinoba exhibitions, and the Vishwa Shanti Stupa at Gopuri,Wardha.

Throughout the visit, the youth experienced ashram life firsthand by participating in daily prayers and Shramdan (voluntary labour) at the Goshala. They also learned about the functions of various Ashram departments. The training camp featured interactive sessions, group discussions, and lectures.

Although the camp lasted only a day and a half, every minute was effectively utilised. The NIRMAN youth were highly enthusiastic, making the discussions both participatory and engaging.

Shri Vijay Tambe, Secretary of the Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, led the sessions and provided the participants with valuable guidance throughout the programme.
