Shri Vijay Tambe addressing National Atheist Conference at Sevagram  Reflections on Atheism  Vijay Tambe  "All of you, Jay Jagat. I am the secretary of Sevagram Ashram, this is a fact, but still, I have been given the opportunity to speak here as a representative of the Ashram. I will not advocate for the Ashram, I will express my own thoughts. I have 15 minutes, so I will present seven points to you. 1. First point: By choosing Gandhi's Sevagram campus for this program, you have acknowledged that it is not necessary to be an atheist to advocate for the rights of the oppressed, to fight for the rights of minorities, and to demand overall equality. 2. Second point: Gandhi was 100% theist. He first considered God as truth, and then considered truth as God. Visit of Jamnalal Bajaj Award Recipients to the Ashram

  The recipients of Jamnalal Bajaj award 2025 viz. Shri P. M. Murugesan, Director, Om Banana Craft Pvt. Ltd., Tamil Nadu (Application of Science and Technology for Rural Development, Smt  Triveni Acharya President & Co-Founder, Rescue Foundation, Maharashtra (Development and Welfare of Women and Children) visited Sevagram Ashram on November 15, 2025. Staff members of the Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation, Mumbai and associates including Ms. Shubhangi Karkannavar, Secretary of the foundation accompanied the group. A guided visit  to the heritage  buildings was given to the group by Mrs. Sangita Chavhan  of the  ashram.Dr.Siby K Joseph , Director of Library and Research Centre briefed them about the history of the Ashram .
