About the Speaker 

K. Aravindakshan is a renowned Gandhian thinker, writer, and social critic known for his brave and unhypocritical writings. Born on June 10, 1953, in Venginissery village, Thrissur district, Kerala, he holds a Ph.D. in Gandhian philosophy from Bhagalpur University. A former officer in Federal Bank, Aravindakshan has written several acclaimed works in various genres, including novels, stories, and essays. His notable awards include the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award (1995) for "Gandhiyude Jeevithadarshanam" and the Odakkuzhal Award (2024) for his novel "Gopa". His writings reflect his deep understanding of Gandhian philosophy and its relevance to contemporary society, making him a respected figure in Malayalam literature.
