Visit of IRS Officer Trainees to Sevagram Ashram



On January 21, 2025, 145 officer trainees from the 78th batch of the Indian Revenue Service, undergoing training at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT) in Nagpur, visited Sevagram Ashram.






 The trainees participated in a guided tour of the Ashram's heritage buildings, followed by a special session at the Library and Research Centre of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan. The session, led by the Centre's Director,  Dr.Siby K.Joseph  highlighted the significance of Sevagram Ashram in India's freedom struggle and its historic legacy. The officials from NADT expressed their gratitude to the Ashram, and a memento was presented to the Director on behalf of  78 th Batch of IRS.Shri Abhay Deware, Joint Director and JCD of  78th Batch of IRS,NADT Nagpur, coordinated the programme.
