Study Visit of Laxmi Ashram Students to Sevagram


Academic sessions for Sadhana Course students 



 

Six students from Laxmi Ashram Kausani, Uttarakhand, undergoing the Sadhana Course, visited Sevagram Ashram from January 17 to 22, 2025, as part of their academic study tour. 
Ms.Sanjana Bali accompanied the group and coordinated the study visit. 

During their stay, the group participated in classes on Gandhian Thought, focusing on Gandhi's ashrams, community living, and Nai Talim, at the Library and Research Centre of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan. Dr. Siby K. Joseph, Director of the Centre, guided the academic sessions. The students also watched documentaries on Mahatma Gandhi's life and basic education, explored the Ashram's premises, attended the prayers and experienced the life of the Ashram.The group was staying in Nai Talim premises. 
 


They also visited Gandhian and constructive organizations in and around Wardha and interaction with a number of Gandhian activists. They expressed their gratitude to   the Sevagram Ashram for arranging the sessions.
