Invitation for Musical Concert 



You are cordially invited to a musical concert commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the Quit India Movement, also known as August Revolution Day.

Venue: Satyanarayana Bajaj Hall, Wardha


The concert, titled "Idea of India in Cinema Music," will feature renowned singer and activist Amarendra Dhaneshwar from the Gwalior family. The event aims to rekindle the spirit of unity, love, and tolerance that defined India's freedom struggle.


The Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan has organized this concert to honour the dreams of freedom fighters who envisioned an inclusive India, free from casteism and all kinds of discrimination. The musical concert will celebrate Hindu-Muslim unity, promote equality, and highlight the richness of Indian culture.


Join us to reminisce about the heroic struggle for independence and reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.

  False Social Media Propaganda against Gandhi : A Factual Analysis    Siby K. Joseph     A false propaganda against Gandhi is gaining momentum through social media in connection with the allowance for the upkeep of Gandhi as a State Prisoner in 1930 by the British Government. Usually this type of propaganda coincides with Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday or martyrdom.  I received   a WhatsApp message a couple of days back from a person associated with a Gandhian organization for quite a long time.  I noticed that this message was forwarded many times.  It is as follows: “Finally, that letter was found in national records. Workshop sessions on Gandhi and Community Living

Workshop on Community  Living   and   Gandhi’s vision of Ashram On  18 th of July 2024 two workshop sessions were organized on  the following themes. The first one was Gandhi and experiments in Community Living and second one was his vision of an ashram .It was held    at the premises of Library and Research Centre of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, Wardha. The workshop sessions were guided by Dr. Siby K. Joseph, Director of the Centre. It was conducted for a small group of enthusiastic young fellows from different parts of the country with varied interest and expertise . They are connected to Youth Alliance, New Delhi and Ritambhara, Kotagiri. The programme started with a brief introduction of participants. It was followed by a presentation of Dr. Siby K.
