  Visit  of Shri Unmesh Wagh IRS



 Shri Unmesh Wagh IRS, Deputy Chairman, currently in charge Chairman of  Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority , near Mumbai which comes under the Ministry of Transport , Shipping and Waterways  visited  Sevagram Ashram on  March 14, 2024.   He was given a guided visit to the Ashram. Smt. Sangita Chavhan guided him  during  the Ashram visit. He wrote his impression in the visitors book of the Ashram. The  District Collector of Wardha   and  Naib Tahasidhar came to  the Ashram during his visit.

  False Social Media Propaganda against Gandhi : A Factual Analysis    Siby K. Joseph     A false propaganda against Gandhi is gaining momentum through social media in connection with the allowance for the upkeep of Gandhi as a State Prisoner in 1930 by the British Government. Usually this type of propaganda coincides with Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday or martyrdom.  I received   a WhatsApp message a couple of days back from a person associated with a Gandhian organization for quite a long time.  I noticed that this message was forwarded many times.  It is as follows: “Finally, that letter was found in national records. Workshop sessions on Gandhi and Community Living

Workshop on Community  Living   and   Gandhi’s vision of Ashram On  18 th of July 2024 two workshop sessions were organized on  the following themes. The first one was Gandhi and experiments in Community Living and second one was his vision of an ashram .It was held    at the premises of Library and Research Centre of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, Wardha. The workshop sessions were guided by Dr. Siby K. Joseph, Director of the Centre. It was conducted for a small group of enthusiastic young fellows from different parts of the country with varied interest and expertise . They are connected to Youth Alliance, New Delhi and Ritambhara, Kotagiri. The programme started with a brief introduction of participants. It was followed by a presentation of Dr. Siby K.
