Gandhi La Solution  Est En Nous  






 The first copy of the illustrated  book Gandhi La Solution  Est En Nous   (Gandhi, The Solution is Within Us ) written by Louis Campana, Freddy Stoof  in French and published by Gandhi International France  was presented  at the valedictory function of Colloquium on Emerging Challenges and Scope for Peace on January 13, 2024. This book is a modest attempt to throw light on  the principles that guided Gandhi and what makes them unique. It also tell us how they can be a realistic alternative for our present times  in which we are facing unprecedented challenges. The initial chapter are historical and some chapters are fictional in an attempt to    contextualize Gandhi to our times.  Mr.  Louis Campana presented a copy of the book before the delegates   and explained its contents and very  purpose of  writing this  book.     Dr. Siby K. Joseph and Dr. Sunil Ganatra  joined Mr. Campana in the presentation of the book. Dr. Siby K. Joseph informed that efforts are being made to publish the English version of this illustrated book through a reputed publishing house.

  False Social Media Propaganda against Gandhi : A Factual Analysis    Siby K. Joseph     A false propaganda against Gandhi is gaining momentum through social media in connection with the allowance for the upkeep of Gandhi as a State Prisoner in 1930 by the British Government. Usually this type of propaganda coincides with Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday or martyrdom.  I received   a WhatsApp message a couple of days back from a person associated with a Gandhian organization for quite a long time.  I noticed that this message was forwarded many times.  It is as follows: “Finally, that letter was found in national records. Workshop sessions on Gandhi and Community Living

Workshop on Community  Living   and   Gandhi’s vision of Ashram On  18 th of July 2024 two workshop sessions were organized on  the following themes. The first one was Gandhi and experiments in Community Living and second one was his vision of an ashram .It was held    at the premises of Library and Research Centre of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, Wardha. The workshop sessions were guided by Dr. Siby K. Joseph, Director of the Centre. It was conducted for a small group of enthusiastic young fellows from different parts of the country with varied interest and expertise . They are connected to Youth Alliance, New Delhi and Ritambhara, Kotagiri. The programme started with a brief introduction of participants. It was followed by a presentation of Dr. Siby K.
