Launching of the Website No War Please

 Coinciding with Colloquium on "Emerging Challenges and Scope for Peace” organized by Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, Wardha  on January 12-13, 2024 a new website  https://www.no-war-please.org/  was launched at the Seminar Hall of Library and Research Centre, Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, Wardha on January 13, 2024. Dr. Siby K. Joseph, Director, Library and Research Centre  and IFPNP of Sevagram  Ashram Pratishthan  explained how the idea of such a  website emerged as a result of the vision of a fellow who underwent the first International Fellowship Program on Nonviolence and Peace  which concluded on January 30 2023. Dr. Sunil Ganatra , a scientist from Nagpur who was instrumental in launching the campaign   Gandhi :the  Man of millennium  explained  the objective of launching this website: No War Please is People's Voice .It aims  at  bringing    Global Community in a common platform  to  raise their concern against War and Terrorism. Mr. Louis Campana, President, Gandhi International, France declared this website open to all and extended support of Gandhi International network. Prof. D John Chelladurai, Dean, Interdisciplinary Studies, MGM University, Aurangabad and one of the key facilitators of IFPNP who spoke on the occasion also extended support in realizing the objectives of this campaign .

  Preserve the Gandhian heritage at Varanasi July 22, 2023 is a red letter day in the history of   Akhil Bharat Sarva Seva Sangh , an institution which carries the heritage of Mahatma Gandhi   formed  soon  after his assassination by a Hindu fanatic. It was on this day the country witnessed the most shameful act of State power which Gandhi looked upon with fear and suspicion that represents violence in a concentrated and organised form. The police force  forcibly entered the premises  of Sarva Seva Sangh in Varanasi, evicted the belongings of the  people who were staying there for decades and  thousands of books and materials  of Sarva Seva Sangh Prakashan  were dumped  outside. The picture of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi filled with dumped  books and materials shows the utter  disrespect of the State machinery to  Mahatma  Gandhi who is not only the Father of  the Nation but also a  universal personality respected all over the world. Cycle Yatra against the Culture of Greed

Pedalling all the way to Kashmir from Kerala   Reduce Carbon Footprint  through an Alternative lifestyle  Dr.Siby K. Joseph honouring the cyclists at Seminar hall of Library and Research Centre of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan  The  cycle   journey   which  was flagged off from Bodhi Centre,  Alathur, Palakkad district of Kerala on July 9, 2023   reached  Sevagram on July 24, 2023 afternoon.   The final destination is Srinagar. They ride  more than 100 kms per day. It took almost fifteen days to  reach Sevagram .The slogans of the cycle ride  clearly depicts the very purpose of the  journey: Lesser Carbon …Greener the world, Cycle to Work, Save India.
