 Visit of Students from  Jammu Kashmir

As a part of an educational endeavour  of the University of Jammu  viz."College on Wheels-J&K Gyanodaya Express,"   about 600   students  travelled different parts of the country. The  group came to  Sevagram Ashram  on  November 30, 2023.   This initiative  was aimed  at redefining  education, effectively dissolving boundaries and reshaping the world into a boundless University. 




The goal was to facilitate the discovery of the student's inner passions and life's purpose through immersive, collaborative, project-based learning experiences to address real-world challenges.  Travelling through  different parts of the country  students were exposed  to India's historical, geographical, and cultural diversity.







 Shri Vijay Tambe,  Secretary  and Adv. Trupti Zilape of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan welcomed the group on behalf of Ashram. Er. Ameet Targotra Assistant Director, Directorate of internal Quality Assurance, University of Jammu and Dr. Shallu Sharma, Professor, Department of Mathematics guided the group. They gave a memento to the ashram as a token of appreciation. The group enthusiastically visited the heritage buildings of the ashram  and  they were eager to  purchase  bapu khadi from Sevagram ashram to carry with them as a memento of their visit.
