As in previous years, the Orientation camp of newly admitted students of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences,  was held at  the premises of Sevagram from October 26 2023 onwards.  As a part of the programme the students planted around 100 saplings in the premises of Charkha Griha of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan on November 5, 2023 . Dr. Siby K. Joseph , Director, Sri Jamnalal Bajaj Memorial Library Research Centre for Gandhian Studies of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan welcomed the students and staff members of  MGIMS  and others   to the programme. Smt. Ashaben Bothra, President, Shri Vijay Tambe. Secretary and Shri TRN Prabhu, Trustee of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan addressed the audience and underlined the significance of planting trees. It was followed by  a plantation  drive by students. Staff members of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan  also joined in this programme This camp will conclude on November 8, 2023 .
