 Visit of Secretary to Govt. of India, Ministry of MSME

Shri S C L Das, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India   visited MGIRI, Wardha and Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan on  October 30, 2023. Smt. Ashaben Bothra  President, Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan welcomed him and the accompanying  team  to the Ashram in the afternoon. She  explained to them  the activities of the Ashram and emphasized the importance of preserving  the ashram   in its original form. Shri. Rahul Kardile, IAS, District Collector of Wardha and other officials were accompanying the team. Shri S C L Das wrote his impressions about the Ashram in the visitor’s diary.

Ba-Kuti: The Abode of Love  Siby Kollappallil Joseph  Akhilesh Jha' s  tribute to Kasturba Gandhi  Today marks 81 st remembrance day of Kasturba Gandhi, and the Ashram community came together in the early morning to pay their respects. The day began with a sacred Prabhat Pheri ritual, where the community assembled at Ghanti Ghar and took a round of the ashram premises, accompanied by devotional music, to reach the cottage of Ba Kuti.Participating in the Prabhat Pheri, a serene early morning ritual, was a moving experience for the ashram inmates. Aloe Vera Garden in Museum and Library premises of Sevagram Ashram  February 4, 2025 The participants of the orientation program at Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan Wardha successfully created an Aloe Vera Garden within the Museum and Library premises on February 4, 2025. This creative endeavor involved the participants in every aspect, from preparing the land to collecting and planting saplings, and finally mulching. They fondly recalled this experience as a highlight of the program. To commemorate their hard work, the participants took a moment to capture photos, enthusiastically chanting "Jai Kisan." . After the completion of the programme in the evening as a symbolic conclusion, the participants, along with Shri Vijay Tambe, Secretary of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan Wardha, collectively planted a Sankupuspha sapling at the garden's centre.
