Rashtriya Yuva Sangathan, a youth organization based on Gandhian ideology  organised its National Youth  Camp from June1-7, 2023 at Maharogi Seva Samity , Wardha.  On  June 5, 2023 all the participants came to Sevagram Ashram and special  sessions were organised at the seminar hall of Yatri Niwas.  Shri Kumar Prashant , President , Gandhi Peace Foundations addressed the audience. He began his lecture by referring to the Pietermaritzburg   incident in which young Indian barrister Mohandas  Gandhi  was thrown out of the train due to racial discrimination.  He reminded the audience that on 5th June 1994 Rashtriya Yuva Sangathan was born in the premises of Sevagram Ashram  and also June 5 marks JP's call for Total Revolution in a massive rally in Patna in 1974. 

In the ensuing session Shri Praddep Khelurkar , Secretary Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan(SAP) addressed  the gathering. He briefly summarised the history of the Ashram and its significance in India's  struggle for freedom. He pinpointed how the ashram contributed towards the revival of Khadi and village industries, prorogation of basic education  and constructive programme and satyagraha struggles. The participants   attended the evening prayer at the ashram. Earlier  on the inaugural day  Smt. Ashaben Bothra, President, SAP  addressed  the participants.
