Anandshala Camp : Bird Watching at Sevagram Ashram Premises
Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan (SAP), Wardha organised a Residential Anandshala camp for school children between the age group of 12 to 17 from 7 to 9 June 2023 at the premises of Sevagram Ashram. As a part of the camp, a special session was arranged on June 7 , 2023 to familiarize with birds and our environment. Prof. Kishore Wankhede of Bahar Nature Foundation , Wardha guided the session. On 8th June after morning prayer, the students were divided into three groups for bird watching in the premises of Sevagram Ashram. Each group was equipped with camera and binocular to facilitate bird watching . Prof . Kishor Wankhede Shri Atul Sharma, Mr. Darshan Dudhane Shri Jayant Sabane and Dr. Lokesh Lamture were instrumental in guiding the students during the bird watching with necessary information. Shri. Sharad S. Tsakane , Dr. Rupesh W. Khubalkar,Mrs. Nisha Khubalkar, Dr. Siby K. Joseph and other also joined the team. Later the whole group assembled at the Seminar Hall of Library and Research Centre for briefing and sharing . Each group shared the birds identified by them and they were put together for further reference. The following were the birds identified by the team.
