  Remembering  the beginning of a great nonviolent Revolution    It was on April 18, 1951 the beginning of a great nonviolent revolution that took place in a remote village viz. Pochampilli village in Nalgonda district of Telangana which  ensured social justice for landless people. It was at that time part of Andhra Pradesh.   This day marked the turning point in the life of poor and landless people, who were at the mercy of extremist forces who believed in the violence for ensuring justice for the poor and downtrodden. Acharya  Vinoba Bhave was  on a tour to   Shivrampalli village on the outskirts of  Hyderabad to participate in the third annual conference of All India Sarvodaya Mandal  from  8 to  11 April. Second International Online Fellowship Programme on Nonviolence and Peace   (IFPNP-II) 2023-24     Certification Ceremony   The programme for the distribution of the Certificates to the candidates who had successfully completed the 4-months Fellowship Programme on Nonviolence and Peace was held on 9 th April 2024 from 3.30 p.m. onwards in the virtual mode. The invitation with Google link and the details of the Chief Guest and dignitaries were shared by Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan in association collaborating partners. The Programme began on time at 3.30 p.m.  Dr. Siby K. Participation in Sarva Dharma Prarthana

  Inter Religious Prayer Meeting   An inter-religious prayer meeting was held on 06 April 2024 at Mohan Nagar Balodyan,  Wardha. Smt.Ashaben  Bothra, President,  Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan addressed the prayer meeting and stressed the need for interreligious prayer in current times. Shri Vijay Tambe Secretary , Adv. Adv. Trupti Zilape, Coordinator, Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan  were also participated in the prayer meet.  Prof. Sheikh Hashem threw light on the life of Sant Kabir in the prayer meeting. Adv. Durga Prasad Mehre conducted the programme Shri. Sunil Kopulwar proposed a vote of thanks.

Address of Smt.  Ashaben Bothra on Empowerment of Women  Nandini Rashtriya Lokmitra Shibir   April 7,2024 Nandini Rashtriya Mitra Shibir was held at Brahma Vidya Mandir, Paunar from April 6-8, 2024. It was the 15 th programme  under Vinoba Vichar Pravah. Smt. Ashaben Bothra ,President, Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan, Sevagram , Wardha addressed the participants of the camp on the theme empowerment of women . Dr. Alessandro Paolo’s Post of Sevagram Ashram Visit

  Reflections  and Photos of the Ashram  Dr. Alessandrao  Paolo, Lanza del Vasto scholar from Italy  who visited  Sevagram Ashram , Library and Research Centre  in the last week of March 2024 wrote his reflections on  a post . Screening of the film Gandhi

  A programme  was organized on  April 3, 2024 evening   to screen the world famous 'Gandhi' movie directed by Richard Attenborough at the seminar hall of Yatri Niwas.   It was mainly intended for the ashram community including ashram workers  and their family members.    Before the commencement of the movie , Shri Vijay Tambe, Secretary of Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan  expressed  the very purpose of screening such  movies.  This movie will give us  an overall idea about our independence movement and the life of Mahatma Gandhi. If someone is interested in a specific point we can have further discussions on it, he said.    A gap was given after screening the first part  for tea and refreshment. After the break, the second part was screened.
