Gandhian Collective Training programme Members to distribute Saplings from Sevagram

  Sevagram Ashram Plants in Kerala to disseminate Gandhian principles  Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan Wardha in association with Gandhian Collective Kerala organized a Orientation Programme for Social activists from 23 to 26 July 2023.During the programme while engaged in cleaning the premises of the Ashram, the participants collected a number of saplings of Neem and  some seeds which has lot of medicinal value.They carried these saplings and seeds on their return to Kerala. They have decided to distribute these saplings and seeds to different parts of Kerala. So that people will have plants from the land which  was blessed by the presence of Mahatma Gandhi.  Through  the distribution of Sevagram plants and seeds  they feel that people will have Mahatma Gandhi plants in their homes and they will constantly remember the ideals for which Gandhi stood for.  They consider it a unique way of dissemination of Gandhian principles. Cleanliness drive at Sevagram

Cleaning of Public Roads and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar  Memorial Stone at Sevagram  The participants of   the orientation programme for social activists  organised by Sevagram Ashram Pratishthan in  association with Gandhian Collective Kerala undertook a cleanliness drive in the premises of the Ashram  on 25 and 26 July 2023. It was in addition to the  cleanliness drive in the campus of the Library and Research Centre of the Ashram and  other premises.   The participants noticed that   with the onset of the rainy season pavements were filled with grass and weeds. So they selected the pavements of the road from Bapukuti to Nai Talim  Samity and Yatri Niwas to the Research Centre. They removed the grass in the pavements and cleaned the area.   Preserve the Gandhian heritage at Varanasi July 22, 2023 is a red letter day in the history of   Akhil Bharat Sarva Seva Sangh , an institution which carries the heritage of Mahatma Gandhi   formed  soon  after his assassination by a Hindu fanatic. It was on this day the country witnessed the most shameful act of State power which Gandhi looked upon with fear and suspicion that represents violence in a concentrated and organised form.  Sevagram Ashram and Propagation of Khadi  Introduction  The historic Salt March of Mahatma Gandhi in 1930 from Satyagraha Ashram premises    to Dandi finally led to disbanding of the ashram at  Ahmedabad . At that historical juncture, Gandhi took a solemn vow that he will return to the Ashram only when India gets independence from British rule.  It goes to the credit of Jamnalal Bajaj , who was regarded as the fifth son of Mahatma, for persuading Gandhi to settle down in Wardha . He offered support to Gandhi to establish the Ashram and for his activities . Gandhi on his release from Yervada Jail  came to Wardha on September 23, 1933. He stayed in Bajajwadi, which was the residence of Jamnalal Bajaj.
